Microsoft Corporation Regional Inventory & Asset Program Manager in Singapore

As a Regional Inventory & Asset Program Manager, you will focus on Inventory & Asset Management, and Logistics operations and provide leadership and direction in establishing program roadmaps, staffing efficiencies, process & tooling improvements, and governance for DC Operations strategy that will support our current and future growth. In this role you will work collaboratively with all CO+I stakeholders to support Availability and Growth for the organization, driving excellence in service through industry best practices.

As a CO+I Regional Datacenter Program Manager, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. Strategic Vision and Implementation

  • Contribute to developing and executing a strategic vision for regional data center operations, aligning with organizational growth objectives.

  • Assist in designing and implementing plans to enhance capacity, scalability, and efficiency in anticipation of future needs.

Project Planning and Management

  • Lead the development, management, and communication of comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and project objectives.

Collaboration and Resource Planning:

  • Work closely with partners to develop resource plans for inventory & asset management, logistics operations, and program delivery.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations, and Infrastructure Managers, to optimize resource allocation and project execution.

Risk Identification and Resolution

  • Proactively identify risks, gaps, and opportunities within projects and operations, communicating effectively with stakeholders to drive resolution and minimize disruptions.

Project Monitoring and Updates

  • Conduct regular project check-ins and updates to track progress, manage inventory and asset management, and ensure quality and timely project delivery.

Knowledge Management and Process Improvement

  • Document lessons learned, best practices, and design processes to improve operational efficiency and productivity.

  • Develop and implement tools and procedures to streamline processes and enhance effectiveness.

Data Analysis for Process Evaluation

  • Utilize data analysis techniques to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of process changes, informing decision-making and driving continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent AND 3+ years(s) experience warehouse/supply chain in an information technology (IT) environment, inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or a related field.

  • OR 3+ years’ experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.

Background Check Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

While not required, we also look for the following Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, information technology, computer science, supply chain, or equivalent work experience

  • OR At least 3+ years(s) experience warehouse/supply chain in an information technology (IT) environment, inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or a related field.

  • Experience with Project and Program management in large complex, cross-functional organizations.

  • Experience in structured process improvement and efficiency gains (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.)
